Our neighbors are struggling to secure and maintain safe, affordable housing because the housing system is complex, fragmented, and difficult to navigate. Without coordinated housing pathways, our most vulnerable neighbors remain unsheltered, live in unsafe housing, or face prolonged stays in emergency rooms, institutions, or shelters.

Housing stability is foundational to individual and community well-being. When housing resources, service providers, and property owners are better aligned, people move into housing faster, landlords are better supported, and communities grow stronger. Strategic coordination can reduce barriers, increase housing access, and make the system work more effectively for everyone.

Granite United Way invests in solutions that strengthen New Hampshire's housing system and improve access to stable housing. We support coordinated, statewide efforts that reduce fragmentation, connect people to housing and services more efficiently, and engage property owners as essential partners in ending homelessness.
