Our neighbors are struggling to achieve financial stability because financial systems are complex, resources are fragmented, and many lack access to financial education and services. Without coordinated support and accessible resources, they remain trapped in cycles of poverty and financial insecurity.

Financial stability is foundational to individual and community well-being. Improved financial literacy and positive financial management strategies are linked to debt reduction, increased savings, and better credit scores. When financial education, tax preparation services, and resources are better aligned, people can build assets, move towards self-sufficiency, and achieve lasting financial resilience.

Granite United Way invests in solutions that strengthen New Hampshire's financial empowerment system and improve access to financial resources and education. We expand access to essential tax credits for low-income populations, train direct service providers in financial coaching, and empower people to build their financial resilience, resulting in more stable families and a more productive workforce.
